Alexa joins Tranquil Tabby with 10 years of experience working as a Certified Veterinary Technician following graduation from Portland Community College’s Veterinary Technology program in Portland, OR. She has worked in general and feline-exclusive practices, emergency and critical care, internal medicine and with exotics. Having grown up with cats, either hers at home or neighborhood strays, Alexa understands cat body language, behaviors and that each cat is unique with their own personalities! She is excited to bring her passion for her feline friends into a calmer home setting to help place each kitty and client at ease with compassionate care and communication.

Born and raised in Salem Oregon, Alexa feels most at home here in the greenery and forestry in the PNW. When she is not caring for her personal zoo of five cats, Eris, Squanchy, Zora, Akantha and Midnight, a chihuahua mix named Bonita and a plethora of reptiles, she enjoys reading, writing, gaming and attempting to crochet.
